Who Qualifies for a Free Government Phone?
You may be eligible for a Free Phone if you or a household member participates in one or more of these government assistance programs:
- SNAP (Food Stamps)
- Medicaid / Medi-Cal
- SSI or SSDI
- Federal Pell Grant (Current Year)
- Veterans Pension & Survivors Benefit
- Section 8 / Public Housing
- WIC (Women, Infants, and Children)
- Tribal Assistance (BIA, TANF, etc.)
- Free School Lunch or Breakfast Program
- LIHEAP (Energy Assistance)
Or based on income, if your household is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
